I remember two of the Gateway stores in Sand Diego, CA.  Both had this hub in the middle of them.  A sort of enclosed structure that made the customer kind of walk around the store in one big circle, maybe designed to keep traffic flowing?

It was awful.  The best floor space in the room was uninviting, ugly and used by the sales people as a place to congregate and ignore the customers.

I think Dell is going to have a tough time in retail, leave it up to Best Buy and Walmart.]]></description>
